Serving You; Hatake Kakashi One Shot

Name: Haru Nami(first name last; meaning: spring waves)
Rank: Maid for Hatake Clan(yes, I know what you are thinking, you probably are like WTF?)Ninja Abilities: Controls all elements, rarely uses her powers.
Specialties: Soothing people, calming people, ninjutsu.
Past: Family has died, and she left home to work as a maid. This is when Kakashi was a chuunin, you know, when Obito was...well, you know...killed.(lets say he was in his teens kay?)

Nami's POV
You look out the window of the small carriage that you rented. "Hmmm...says here in the letter that I'm hired by the Hafaka clan? The Hasama clan? Oh whatever, I'll go over it later." You think distractedly, your hands fidgeting like they were fighting for something. You stick your head out the window, and let the cold wind smack right into your face, blow your hair that you had tried so hard to tie up, and you squinted hard and saw the village of Kohonagakure. You withdraw your head back into the carriage, and dream about your future career all the way into Kohona.When you step out, you knock on the door, and when you see a man step out, you bow deeply and say, "I believe I am the maid you requested, sir." He nods, and lets you in. You see another man your age with silver hair, and black clothing. He lifts his head in confusion and begins, "Uh, um..." He looks at you, and understands. "..oh." You sweatdrop, and think, "Looks like he's not much of a talker..." You bow, and the man introduces you. "This is going to be our new maid, Kakashi." He nods, then boredly looks out the window. You smile, and think, "Great...such a wonderful day(note the sarcasm.)." You bow again, not wanting to be rude, and say, "It is my pleasure serving you, Hatake-sama." He nods, brushes past you, and says, "I need to go out to train. Bye." He opens the door, walks out, closes it behind him, and you think, "Guess its time to clean..." You walk in his room, and stare at the mess. You heave a heavy sigh, and think, "So whos gonna bet how long its gonna take me...?"After you put a mask on, take out a trash back and a broom, you start dusting like crazy, tidying up and the whole shebang. After you're done, you feel supremely grateful that you wore a mask. Dust is all sweeped up in a pile, two feet high! You think, "Guess I'll have to get used to this..." You clean up the rest of the house, and make a snack. You decide to go and train, the Hatakes won't mind, and you go outside and practice your Black Dragon Hellfire. You go out to the training area, you hope they won't notice, and burn down like 20 trees. You think, "Oops, guess I mastered it...this they will notice. I hope I won't get fired..."
Kakashi's POV
After you leave practice, you come home and see the whole house really clean. "Guess the maid cleaned it up." You figure, go to the kitchen, and see some maple leaf manjuu on the kitchen counter. You munch it down, and suddenly wonder, "Where's the maid girl...?" You look outside and see the girl fretting about 20 burned trees. "Holy cow, dad's going to bee grateful. He was thinking of a fast and effective way to burn all of them down without wasting too much chakra and energy...better go talk to her and tell her its okay." You think, and leap down from the balcony and casually say to the girl, "You know, its okay. Dad was actually trying to destroy the trees anyway." She looks up, a small glimmer of hope in her crimson eyes. You say again, "Its fine." She smiles, relieved, and you ask, "Want to spar?" Her expression turns immedeatly(sp?)from happy to guarded. She cautiously responds, "If it pleases you." You nod, and she get to her feet and assumes a fighting stance. "Then I won't go easy, Kakashi-sama!" You do a quick replacement jutsu, and get behind her. She whirls around in surprise, then makes a couple of sloppy hand signs and says, "Water and Fire Blast!" A spiral of water and fire comes shooting at me, and you dodge it easily, but it goes after you, and in surprise it hits you. Right before, you do a quick replacement, and as you see the destruction the log faced, nothing was left, you are very glad that you did a replacement. You throw 3 shruiken at her, and she doesn't dodge. She just lets them hit her, and she merely smirks. You stop for a second, and think, "Wha...why's she smiling?" She makes 6 hand signs, and shouts, "Angel of Avengement!" 2 shruiken appear in each of your arms, and 2 in each leg. You stagger, and mentally take a note, "Don't use weapons against her!" But you see 1/4 of her chakra is already drained, and you inwardly smile. You appear to charge at her, then disappear and land behind her. She kicks you, you catch it and she pulls out a pair of gloves. She snaps, and fire comes bursting out! You jump back, getting the front of your shirt scorched. Then she starts apologizing again and again, and you think, "Wha-oh yeah, she's our maid..." You dismiss it, and she bows and goes inside. You shrug, and return to your room to get a new one.
Nami's POV
You wait until Kakashi has stepped out of the room, and then you go in, get the scorched shirt, and get to your quarters. You stare at it, analyzing the color of the thread, then you rip the scorched part out. Now there's a big hole in the middle of the shirt, and you run off into the village to find thread and a sewing needle.
Kakashi's POV
You look at the maid's quarters. "Sort of shabby, but fine all the same." You think, then you see your shirt. You see the huge hole in it, sweatdrop and think, "What is she thinking?" You hear hurried footsteps, and you whirl around. You see the maid, with a needle and thread. She says in surprise, "Oh...Kakashi-sama..." You cock your head in curiosity and ask, "Whats your name?" She quickly answers, "Haru Nami, Kakashi-sama." You nod, and she rushes to the bed. She picks up the shirt with the hole in it, and begins to sew a patch, making it new again, and her sewing is so precise, its as if it was never burned. You stare at her, and look at her face. "She's so serene, and graceful...how can she want the life of a maid? Being like this, tending her master's whims and needs..." You think, deep in thought, and barely notice when Nami hands you the repaired shirt, saying, "Here, Kakashi-sama. I fixed it." You nod slowly, and shuffle back to your room.
Nami's POV
"Gosh, Kakashi didn't even say thanks! Hmph, what do I expect from my great master?(again, note the sarcasm.)Sometimes I wish I never came here!" You try to calm yourself, and you start to make a list of what you will need for tonight's dinner. "Hmmm, lets see..." You think, and when you get it memorized in your head, you grab your purse, stuffed with all the yen in your old house you could lay your hands on, and walk out of your bedroom/quarters. Before you go out, Kakashi pops his head out of his door and asks, "Eh? Nami, where're you going?" You reply calmly, "The market, to buy groceries for tonight's dinner, Kakashi-sama." He slowly nods, and he walks out to the training field, and starts to practice by felling trees. You roll my eyes. "As if he could care any less!" You think, and glide out the door.Kakashi's POVYou see her serene movements as she walks-no glides, out the door, and you think, "How serene...pretty nice..." And proceed to slap yourself for such perverted thoughts(remember, at this time Kakashi wasn't perverted!)
Nami's POV
After buying the groceries, You dash back to make dinner
Nami's POV
When you made the dinner, the wafting scents attracted Kakashi, and he sauntered over, lazily asking, "Whatcha making?" You were tempted to say, "Nothing for your shitting face," But said instead, "____________(whatever you think)" He nodded, then walked away. For the 4th time, you felt like strangling him and asking him for a little bit of appreciation. "What did I get myself into?" You asked yourself.Then, you see Kakashi's father come home, and Kakashi smiled. "Welcome home!" He said, a small smile on his lips. You bowed respectfully, and said, "Welcome home, Hatake-sama." He nodded, and replied, "Arigatou, Nami." He sniffed the air, and warned you, "Don't let it burn." You gasp, and dash off to the kitchen, yelling, "Arigatou for the reminder, Hatake-sama!" When you reach the kitchen, you manage to save the food from burning, and with a, "Phew!" You delivered the food to the table.
~Time Skip, Time When Kakashi's Dad Died~
Kakashi's POV
You try to hold back tears, but single droplets fall, that give way to a streaming river. Rin creeps up behind me and softly says, "Kakashi-kun..." You ignore her, wanting to drown in the pain and then wash it all off. She seems to understand, for she tiptoes off and you hear her say to Obito, "Leave him alone." You slowly trudge home, and when you open the door you are greeted by Nami, who sorrowfully says, "I heard, Kakashi-sama..." You walk into your room, and shut the door. The carpet gets wet from your tears, and the door suddenly opens. Nami is standing outside the door, quietly asking, "Kakashi-sama?" You look away, ashamed of your tears, but to your surprise Nami walks over and puts her arms around your shoulders. She says in a soothing voice, "Cry it all out, you'll feel better. Cry, because nobody can see it but me. Its going to be okay, life will go on and your father will be proud that you don't dwell on the past." Her words calm you, and all the pain seems to flow out, in your tears. She releases you, and looks at you with eyes filled with sympathy. She quietly says, "Call me when you want dinner." And she leaves. Strangely, her words seem to calm me, and I feel grateful toward her, my maid. "Isn't life weird? First, dad dies, then my maid calms me. How can she have this power...that makes me so calm?"
~After Obito's Death~
You were crying again. It was a shame; crying 2 times, just a few months apart! You blindly walked, it was a while before you realized you were heading for home, or more like, Nami. You slammed open the door, and saw Nami as usual, with sorrow on her face. She had seen Obito many times, and Rin too; and she knew your sorrow. She hugged him like the time when your father had died; and she comforted him like the time before; and had whispered kind words. She suddenly remembered her status, and backed away, apologizing, "Forgive me, Kakashi-sama, I forgot my place."Nami's POV"What was I thinking! I'm probably going to get fired!" You thought frantically. All of a sudden, a smaill voice popped into your head, and it said:
~You like hiiimmm, don't you?~
~NO I DON'T! He's my employer and master!~
~Oh, riiight. You like him, I can tell.~
~Who are you?~
~I'm part of you.~
~Oh great, now my conscience is talking to me!~
~Excactly.~
~GREAT!~
~You like him. Go and wrap your arms around him, I bet you'll like it!~
~Okay, I like him-A MICROSCOPIC LITTLE BIT!~
~Hah, now you confess. Now go and k-~
~SHUT UP~
~Sorry, geez.~
It finally went away, and only a few seconds had passed.
Kakashi's POV
~Ooooh, you like her!~
~Oh great, not you again!~
~Yes, me again. Now stop moaning and get to the point.~
~Please be quiet.~
~Never! Come on, you like her, she's your maid, if you order her to kiss you, she will!~
~I only like her a little bit.~
~HAHAHA! Confession! Now go and tell her!~
~Shut up before I kill myself!~
~Okay, geez.~
You stare at Nami, and say, "No, its fine. Stay." She looks surprised, but obeyed and sits down on the bed. You embrace her, and she turns a fantastic shade of red, causing you to look like a sunburned, red tomato. Sadly, Kakashi didn't see.
Nami's POV
"Kakashi hugged me. Kakashi hugged me." this thought races in your brain over and over again. What should you do? Should you push him away? Do nothing? Hug him back? What should you do? The annoying voice resounds in your head, saying:
~Hug him back.~
You do so, and you know now, no matter what rank, servant, maid, master, nothing will stop this love. Kakashi's house, and prepare dinner.
Kakashi's POV
You are startled by her response, and then you just let your tears spill down. She says, "Just let your tears fall..." You nod, and whisper, "After this, you don't have to be my maid..." Nami looks up at you, and says in response, "But I want to..."
